About the Wild Horse Saloon
Welcome to the Family!
We are so happy you are here. The Wild horse Saloon is a dance hall and bar but more than that, we are a big family. The other thing you need to know about the Wild Horse Saloon is that we have the best staff in town. Seriously, they are the reason that we are a favorite hangout spot for locals. So come on by, grab and drink, get to know our staff and make some new friends.
The Wild Horse Saloon is open to guests 18+ with a valid ID.
*Things are changing rapidly as we adjust to COVID regulations and figure out the best way to operate and help you have a buckin’ good time. Please look at at our calendar page to see pricing for each event.
Here at the Wild Horse Saloon we sure love y’all, and want to do our best to keep you safe and sound. In order to reopen, we must follow guidelines set by the state and encourage our patrons to do the same. So please be respectful of each other’s difference of opinion, and know that we will respect your opinion either way as enter this uncharted territory. Regardless, let’s get back to a buckin’ good time!
Yes! Please visit the Book our Space page for details on our space and to contact us!
We want everyone to have as much fun as possible, but fighting and/or physical confrontation will not be tolerated, AT ALL. In the event of a fight/confrontation, it is Wild Horse Policy to ask and enforce that both parties leave the premises for the remainder of the evening. In the event that you were trying to fight/ confront any member of the Wild Horse Saloon staff, you will be “86’ed” PERMANANTLY. DO NOT DISRESPECT ANY MEMBER OF MY STAFF!!!!!!
Unless you get a hold of me via email, then you have to wait to come by during normal business hours, we open Tues-Sat at 6pm. We hold lost and found items for around a month and then take them to the thrift store. Credit cards are held for 1 month and then taken to the bank to be destroyed. So please try to remember everything when you leave the bar.
Meet the Buckaroos!
Amber is our fearless leader and co-owner of the Wildhorse Saloon. She was born and raised on Oklahoma but fell in love with Durango and has been here since 2010 when she purchased the Wildhorse Saloon. Building a community and a place where everyone feels like family has been a long time passion of Amber’s. Outside of the Wildhorse, Amber is a fitness guru with a passion for wellness including the benefits of essential oils. She lives with her husband and two sons in Durango and loves calling this beautiful community home.
Lauren is one of our longtime bartenders. When she is not helping you have a good time at the Wildhorse Saloon, she is working at San Juan Regional Medical Center. In her (limited) free time she enjoys hiking and fishing.
